Friday Night Lip Service is a community radio show founded and based in Canberra, Australia. It was established in 2011, and has brought together people from across the Canberra queer community. FNLS is broadcast every Friday night at 9:30pm on 2XX 98.3 FM (again, in Canberra) and also live streamed from the 2XX website at http://www.2xxfm.org.au.

Hosts of Friday Night Lip Service generally identify as or with 'Queer'. Friday Night Lip Service does not purport to represent or speak for all queer women; views expressed on the program are the personal perspectives and anecdotes of the people speaking. Friday Night Lip Service strives to be inclusive and empowering of a spectrum of community members.

We are always looking for new ideas for what we can do to continue to innovate our contribution to the Canberra Queer community.

Not only do we have a regular radio show, we also host semi-regular events. FNLS also seeks to promote and support other Queer projects and initiatives, that contribute to the community.
