#62 Full-Time Social Awareness (24/7/52)

Is being queer and socially aware a full-time dedication? Like, literally full time? Are we letting the cause down if we watch a few movies that don't pass the Bechdel Test? Is it up to us to quash every project that doesn't fulfil our queer and feminist needs, or can we sometimes just let the world to get on with it? In short, do we need to be the perfect queer citizen and activist, and what will that do for how we and others see us?

#48 Lesbians and Cats (The Feminine and the Feline)

Cats!

Why do so many lesbians seem to like cats so much? Do the cats like the lesbians in return? Can cats be queer? Do they have gender identities? Politics? Do they need to be environmentally aware when they are of course the ruler of all they survey?

As ever, to discuss something properly, we go FULL SPOILER.

Lip Service Classics: Vagitarianism (Friday Night Lunch Service)

We talked about it on the Ecofeminism episode last week, and now you can hear it for yourself whether on again or for the first time.

Annie, Daria, Jess, Lydia and Nida are faced with a stereotype that lesbians are vegetarians. Is it true that Women Who Love Women are more inclined to consume plant matter? Should we be? And will Nida really make the jump way up the opposite end of the spectrum?

#15 Food, Eating and Ethics (Oliver and Oliver)

On tonight's show, we're eating each other out...of house and home, that is!

Why is there so much fuss about food? What is the line between looking queer and looking vegan? Why do lesbians have such a thing for vegetables?

#8 Periods Revisited (Red Vag of Courage)

About 28 days ago, Jess and Nida brought you their perspective on menstruation. Since then, some of the rest of the team have been lining up our own thoughts on the subject. Tonight a different take on The Curse as your visitors come on to pad your evening.

So pour some blue liquid, don your tight white jeans and get out your cow's-head diagram. It's that time of next month as Daria, Lucy and new guest Amy get bloody irregular with topics, moon over the positives, rag on the negatives, and present their own period piece.
