Special: Lip Service Live! Big Gay Out

As heard in the most recent episodes, when the time came for Australia to learn the results of the marriage postal vote, FNLS gathered the local rainbow community and our supporters for a party in the park to watch together.

No Lipster realised how big the event would get. But you can learn now as we bring you the cover recorded on the day. On the spot at Haig Park, on what is now known as Yes Day!

#98 YES (While We Were Out)

FNLS is back. An increasingly tired Daria, Nicky, Nida and Saige touch on marriage equality, Transgender Day of Remembrance, hot chocolate, the 1966 World Cup, allies, pasta, parties, parliament and everything else they need catching up on.

A stage in a park, surrounded by banners showing the flags and colours of intersex, queer and transgender pride.

#93 Happy Queer News (Cheerful Bulletins)

It's all been a bit intense lately, as our community is getting all sorts of pressure from all sides. So tonight we remind ourselves that the world can be worth it by taking a look at the positive things happening in the Queersphere around the planet.

Fat Pixie (an orange cat) and Mitten (a mostly black cat) sit at a newsdesk with the FNLS logo on it, and an image of the queer rainbow flag behind.

#92 The Postal Poll (We’ll Keep On Fighting. And We’ll Win.)

It seems that whether we like it or not, our lives will be dragged through the public theatre in the coming week, as people hide behind children and platitudes and dress their hate speech up in the guise of ‘having a respectful debate’ or ‘presenting both sides’.

The Marriage Equality Postal Poll is coming.

Ferris, a regal blue-grey cat, sorts through envelope scattered on the floor.

#91 Marriage Equality (Rainbows on the Horizon)

Join us to talk something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue! The thought of impending marriage equality has us all warm, fuzzy and queering the hetero-patriarchy!

#77 ‘Respectful Debate’ (Crying Over Spilt Beer)

In the wake of The Bible Society's 'Keeping It Light' video that attempted to place oppression and equality on the same footing, our heroes talk about being queer or feminist in a world of business, branding and debate that is anything but 'respectful'.

Beer spilling over wedding rings.

#74 Immani Love and Queen (Poems and Passion)

While erotic poet and goddess of love Immani Love hit Australia on her latest Rainbow Tour, she and Queen Keysh also stepped into the FNLS studio to capture the hearts of a panel of Lipsters. Will any of them be the same for their experience?

#21 Marriage Continued (Those United States)

Scant hours after the previous episode was broadcast, the Supreme Court of the United States made same-sex marriage legal across their entire country. But nothing changed here...or did it? Jess picks up where she left off last week and chats with Jillian and Daria about the queer week we'd just had.

Ding, dong the bells are gonna chime!

Join Jess, Nida and Nicky in the Chapel of Love tonight, as they exchange vows and opinions about the current marriage equality debate. Do you want to listen? I do.
